Select Support is a local family-led support and recruitment agency offering support services in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. We are passionate about helping families and individuals overcome barriers to attain independence and inclusion in the community through the support we provide.
Select Support offers trained support workers and personal assistants to support families, young people, children and the elderly in their own home or residential settings. We promote the rights and opportunities of individuals/families who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and the elderly. We realise that people may have a number of support needs, some of which may be complex and so our support package will manage the complexity of these needs. Select Support has a duty of care to those we are supporting. We work alongside and in partnership with other organisations e.g. Social Care, NHS and Education. Ultimately our aim is to give support to enable people to help themselves and to lead rewarding lives.
All our support workers and personal assistants are given ongoing training and regular supervision to constantly enable them to offer the best support possible. We also offer regular reviews and welcome feedback from our families at any time.
Select Support offers a person-centred approach to people which can be tailored to individual need. Our work goes beyond the individual and gives other members of the family piece of mind that with good support in place they are able to take a much needed rest from responsibility themselves.
